The 'Gymnastics World Cup' in Ghent is one of the eight Artistic Gymnastics World Cup competitions for Women and Men of the FIG (International Gymnastics Federation).

For the 6th time, Sportscentre Puyenbroeck will host the Belgian Championship swimming Short Course.
During 2 days the top of Belgian swimmers will be present to swim for the national titles.
The swimming pool proved in the past to be a fast pool: 31 Belgian Records were set during 5 competitions.
In November the "kuipke" in Ghent will be the place to be for track cycling. The international patricipants will guarantee a top level competition!
The European Day of the Trainer is taking place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 December, and is organised by the Flemish Trainer School in the Topsporthal Vlaanderen, one of the high class sports infrastructures in the Province of east flanders.
In February the Top Sportshall in Ghent will host the European Championships Masters Indoor Athletics.
