FOOD
Flanders, Belgium, attaches great importance to food quality, a fact that is undoubtedly appreciated by the delegations. This is e.g. illustrated by the actions of the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain, a body that monitors and inspects the entire food chain. The result is that Belgian foodstuffs are among the safest in the world.

THEFT
Ghent is a safe city. As in many other major cities, however, the same warning applies: do not be careless about your wallet and (valuable) possessions. A safe storage and strict care prevent problems. The police are available day and night for prevention and support in case of problems.
